Check out the new video! This chronicles the Abel Tasman Great Walk and our Pelorus River paddleboarding trip.
It's not a trophy animal, but it is dinner. Mac and I went hunting about 1.5 hours from here and he shot three goats! The Wanganui National Park--a misty rainforest and native bird refugia provide relief from the typical denuded slopes and the ubiquitous sheep and cows. There are wild goats, pigs, and deer with no natural hunters. That's where Mac comes in. He's preserving the natural balance with his .308 Winchester. What's for dinner? Salad with greens from our garden, local olives & feta, and Sienna's homemade pickled mushrooms; Green goat curry with local veggies, cashews, and fresh lemongrass, and tan slice for dessert. What is tan slice? Come to NZ and find out!
